This is my second problem with the Asus V7100 - so the same "intro" applies:
I've got a Asus V7100 running on a Abit KT7 using a AMD Duron 600 oc 800 with VIA 4in1 v4.24a with Windows 2000 Pro as my OS.
First i tried the drivers from the cd, but changed to reference v6.18.
ok.. now the problem - all games using Direct 3D is all choppy, even at 640x480, or at 1024x768. I've tried Diablo II which gave me max 24fps, Unreal Tournament was the best of those i tested (and with a flunky Direct 3D engine - i don't understand sh*t), and last Microsofts own Motocross Madness 2, choppy as hell in 640 and 1024.

But in OpenGL - everything i smooth as hell. Running Quake 3 Arena at 1024x768 with 32bit colors.. mmm jummy!! NICE!!
Could it just be that 6.18 isn't "good" enough and I should wait for new driver? or is it another problem with my system? Any tweaks I should try, or not try (i've tweaked a bit using the advanced options dialog, but nothing else). What about 4x AGP which is enabled in bios??
Any help would be appreciated.
