Whoever is using this videocard download and use the beta driver 5.33a KICK ASS!!!!! very fast...........................

How are you testing? I used the 533a when it first appeared but am now using 6.31. I think my best 3DMark scores were with 6.26 but the jump from 5.33a to 6.31 is about 5400 to 5700 default benhcmark score. I know 3DMark is not ideal but it does seeem to indicate that the 6.xx drivers are faster.

Nope I'm with blclay23 here 6.xx cut my 3Dmarks nearly in half. 5.33a drivers rock. 😀

Actually, the 6.47's run very well on my GeForce 256. I was using 5.33 for a long time, and they are a good stable driver, but lack the smoothness and speed of 6.47 IMO.

I primarily play Ultima 9 Ascension in D3D mode, and the 6.47's (plus DirectX 8) made a HUGE difference in rendering performance to the game. This carries more weight with me than 3D Mark scores, since any D3D driver that can render U9 fast has to be very well written indeed...

few days ago, I said 5.33a was kick ass!!!!!!!!!!!!you should try Nvidia's 7.16 ROCK!!!!!

Well I'm just pissed that Asus hasn't released OFFICIAL drivers for the GeForce 6800 cards since April!! They have a couple of betas, and that's it... sheesh!

They have more recent drivers for the 7700 series of cards, and I would expect they should work with earlier series cards, since they're based on the nVidia drivers which are card independent, but have never wanted to experiment quite that much... 🙂
