What kinda 3D games can be played nicely
Other Hardware is follow
CPU= Dual P3 550Mhz
Memory = 512MB
HDD = 40 Gig
MB = Asus 2B DS (BX chipset)
Kid is 7 year old
Plus where I can D/L latest Drivers
I am thinking about installing Win2K so it will RUN Lot Faster
Or I should just throw XP PRO on it ?

My sequal server ran SLower on P4 1.4 Gig compare this P3 550Mhz (Dual)
 
No, but i have a 1.8 Williamette.

I do know that the early P4's were being beat by ~1ghz P3's. However Dual P3 550's wont even come close.

Intel fixed the problems with the P4's by:

#1: Introducing rev. A which allowed for Asynchronous caching, among other core tweaks
#2: Raised clock speeds.

Ya know... i cant believe i replied either, i couldn't help it 😛

But Again my P3 550 (Dual) run faster with SQL Server.

Well, What I can say. I didn't kept that P4. Sold it.
Kept the P3, Just Add the Memory it made the Huge difference.

Sold the P4 Machine Long ago
I couldn't get the Page generated in less then 5 second with 50.20% PHP - 50% MySQL)
In P3 I was doing 3 seconds with 60%pHp and 50% My SQL
and no I Do not have a screen SHOTS

-As a server the p3 would own it, but as a gaming machine give me the 1.4 p4.
