Asus Update (Bios)

It just hangs on connected to site, and just sits there doing nothing, i have never been able to update my Bios using this thing.

I have Asus Update V6.10.02 and im using a A8N-SLI Deluxe, that hasn't been updated since 3/3/2005.

It says connected for like 10 minutes then says timed out and reconnects? this thing is CRAP!

It works fine for my A8N-SLI Deluxe, but I'd be wary of updating the BIOS on the A8N-SLI D. I, along with others, have had several instabilties with nForce4 drivers with it. If it works, don't fix it (especially this mobo). Just my advice.

Good call no upgrade.

Just download the bios file off the Asus site and then use Asus Update to just install it...even attempting to download it via Asus Update is foolish.

From the drop down menu on the main screen, just choose update bios from file, locate the bios you downloaded, and away you go!
