It solved a couple of peoples problem along with mine.
If you're trying to use ASUS Update program you might have the same problem I did.
If you've installed the latest Microsoft patches you probably need to install this "unpatch" patch! Don't you love it.

I tried to use Live Update yesterday and it wouldn't work. I installed the "unpatch" patch and was back in business. Live Update worked like a charm.
I used "update from file" method, didn't feel comfortable trying updating over Internet.
