Asus TUSL2-C.....

Hi,
Maybe a stupid q....*S*

I have an P3 500, that is 5x100.

I'm not sure I can use this CPU on the TUSL2. Doesn't it require multiples starting on 5 and upwards?

I can't find any info anywhere about this. ASUS says it supports P3 450+ or Celeron 533+.

Do I get it right: TUSL2 MUST have a 5x multipel....
Or is allways the cpu that simply "tells" then bios/mobo what multipel it is running.

greetings
Jorgen

I believe as long as it's a P3 FC-PGA cpu, it should work on the mobo with no problem..

Almost all the board has the 5x to 10x multiplier... you have a fc-pga chip right..

Off their web.. from 450Mhz +
Socket 370 for Intel® FCPGA/FCPGA2 Pentium III (CuMine/Tualatin) 450MHz~1.2GHz+ processor and Intel® CeleronTM (FC-PGA) 533~850MHz+
