The TUA266 offers fsb speeds in 1MHz increments. It is a good performing stable board. Much better than any VIA chipset boards, though not quite as good as intel chipset boards. It does, however, support DDR and larger amounts of memory than Intel's offerings, so there is potential to get better performance from this board than an intel chipset board. I don't know how the Tualatins fare with DDR memory, as there have been no reviews online with this board and a Tualatin chip and DDR memory. I have only seem reviews with VIA chipset boards, Coppermine CPU's and ddr. But you know if it's VIA, as was used in what reviews have been done with PII and ddr, it is not going to get good memory performance compared to an Intel chipset even with DDR. I have not tried the one I have yet to see if it will get any better than the 10% improvement slower coppermine cpus did with the VIA chipset boards in those reviews of the PIII with DDR. THe TUA266, I believe, brings to socket 370 what the Asus P5A brought to socket 7, a reliable and stable alternative to VIA with good performance and better support for current technology than Intel chips for the given platforms.
