I have an Asus CUBX and i would like to know wether (asus 1) or (asus 2) is the cpu tem read off the internal temp sensor on the P3. Asus 1 and 2 are what MBM calls them. As far as i can tell, the (asus 2) sensor is the cpu tem, because it gets higher. My only problem whith this is that, why the hell is it so erratic?

Yes "Asus 2" is your internal CPU temperature.
Not having a CUBX, I can't tell you exactly. With a P3B-F, I need to dial in +5C "compensation" in MBM 4.18 so that CPU temp is very close to what's reported in Bios. Never having a mainboard that reported internal CPU temp before this one, CPU temp seemed to be very erratic at first. It's normal for it to change for example, from 23C to 22C to 26C to 25C to 23C, every one second. The CPU internal temp can go from 23C to 39C, and vice versa over a two second period.

PC Probe didn't let me compensate the reported CPU temp. It's a nice prog, but I didn't want to constantly add +5C to the reported CPU temp.

Lots of people don't need to compensate their reported temps in MBM. C'est la vie.

also it changed very fast because the thermal diode is part of the core. So as the core heats and cools, and with such a small mass, it does so very quickly.
