I built my PC about a year ago and it includes a small built in display panel that is powered by an unused internal USB header on the motherboard.
Recently, the display panel will start to turn off and on repeatedly. After doing some trouble shooting, I narrowed it down it not receiving enough power from the USB header. I plugged it into an external USB power supply and it works perfectly.
Has anyone had this issue before? Any ideas what it could be?
Here are my system stats:
Motherboard: Asus Strix Z690-i CPU: i7 12700K Ram: 32GB DDR5 5200 SSD1: Samsung 980 Pro NVMe 2TB SSD2: Kingston NVM2 2TB AIO: Phanteks 240mm Glacier One Video: EVGA RTX 3080Ti PSU: Phanteks Revolt SFX 750W Platinum
