My uncle just gave me a computer with this mobo in it and I'd like to swap out the P166 that's in it for the AMD K6-2 I've got. What's the fastest I can run my K6-2 400? The fastest FSB I see is 75 MHz, but that's for Cyrix. Any one got any suggestions?

SiS 5597/98 doesn't like running at 75 or 83 MHz with AMD processors. So stay at 66 MHz, and set the multipliers to what is labelled 2.0x - that'll give you 6.0x with the K6-2. So full 400 MHz are available - provided that board can feed enough juice to the CPU.

regards, Peter
