Asus removed all the 1006 betas and it jumps from 1005 to 1007-002 updated today.

I just put the 1007-002 on my system from 1006-004, so far, so good!

I haven't found any documentation for this new BIOS.

Anyone notice any changes or improvements?

Asus doesn't provide any info on their betas. I've been running it since yesterday with no problems but I've also noticed no difference. It may fix some of the problems that some folks have been having with SATA drives and such.

Okay guys, I don't wan to jinx myself, but since I did the update last night and put all my OC settings back. BF2 has not crashed on me. I played for three straight hours last night and no crash.

Not sure if it's cause of the updated BIOS or BF2 just felt like running right. Will play for a few more hours today.

Other than that, no changes

I downloaded this bios and installed it. It has no selections past 1.45 for vcore. Isn't that going to kill some overclocking ability? LOL Figures

Yeah...still not fixed. I've been told that the cpuz and pcprobe aren't accurate in reporting vcore

wierd...I'll re-download it and reflash the bios. I just checked and 1007-002 won't go past 1.45 on mine

Ok...just downloaded it again and reflashed...still the highest vcore option I have is 1.45.

I'm going back to 1006-002 just to be safe till a newer/better 1007 comes out

I can do 1.55 Vcore on this new BIOS.

BTW, anyone have problems flashing to an older BIOS using Asus update through windows? And also, anyone know where I can get the 1006-02 drivers? I would like to keep a collection of all the decent drivers, so I can see which of them is more stable and allows for better OC. Any help on this would be great
