I'm new member looking for ideas and knowledge who willing to share it?
I know there are lots of forums talked about system clocked from 2.4ghz to 3.2ghz / 3.6ghz with massive cooler installed/power supply. Just wondering anyone tried overclocking using standard intel fan and heat sink without overheating from 2.4ghz to 2.8ghz/3.0ghz?
this is my system
ASUS P5N-E SLI NFORCE 650I SLI MB
POWER SUPPLY 420 WATT
INTEL QUAD CORE Q6600 2.4GHZ
COOLERMASTER LGA 775+ 3.6GHZ FAN standard
MUSHKIN 6MB DDR2 PC6400 MEMORY
EVGA GF 8500GT 512MB PCI-E
80 x 2 GB SATA-II 3.0GB/S 8MB 7200RPM HD
Please... Share your overclocking experienced because Im trying to overclock this system to 2.8ghz or 3.0ghz aslong it won't overheat. Thank you for sharing your experienced and knowledge.
