ASUS SLI - Mouse Freeze + Reboot Problem Help?

Hi,

Okay I finally was able to get SLI working and once last problem to solve maybe someone can help. The only problem I am now having with this is just using the windows desktop I get random mouse freezes and then a reboot. I am able to complete 3Dmark05 and run Sandra Burn in with 50+ runs with no problems. Sound card working good now thanks to fasteddie. The computer only gets messed up when I'm just in windows and the mouses just freezes then reboots. I just upgraded to a new power supply - PC and C 510 SLI and this solved the video problem. Any ideas what this can be?

This is my current setup. GuitarDaddy, FastEddie any advice would be awesome.

ASUS SLI 1003 Bios
1 Gig DDR PC3200XLPRO Corsair
EVGA 6800 Ultra PCI-E x2
Raptor 74 Raid 0
PC & C 510 SLI PSU

One more thing to fix help!

Thank you for helping me get this thread started. OS is Windows XP SP2 Mouse is Logitech MX1000 Plugged into rear USB port.

My new power supply is reading 11.776 on idle on the 12V+ Rail is that a problem? The weird things is I have not had a reboot when running Sandra Burn-in.

Your psu is fine. You're taking the reading out of the bios, which is a little low.

What drivers did you install for the mouse?

Also, take a look in Device Manager to see if the mouse is correctly listed, whether or not you have any devices listed as unknown.

Have you reinstalled/repaired windows since you where having PS issues?

If not you may have corrupted windows files. Try repair or reinstall.

I have not reinstalled windows yet, I guess I will give that a try. Thanks.

Hi, I'm taking the reading from Asus PC Probe not the bios, is that reading too low or I should not worry about it. Thanks!
