One theory I saw at XBit is that it only officially supports up to PC2700 because there is no ECC PC3200 on the market yet (their idea, not mine). Why, why, why isn't there at least a 64-bit 66MHz PCI bus on there... :( Anyway, I certainly do look forward to some reviews of these. Paging Dr. Evan Lieb... :D

Oh, and while we're throwing around pre-production AMD goodies, I see The Inquirer is alluding to a new nVidia southbridge for nForce2... MCP-S with native SATA and a *droool* gigabit Ethernet controller. More spec-you-lation here :D

Just remembered... I read that Asus is releasing a microATX version of the A7N8X-Deluxe with onboard video on the 20th (tomorrow). If that's true, it'll be interesting to see what they can cram onto it. My understanding is that IGP boards don't support 400MHz FSB (yet). Still, could be a nice business solution and a worthy successor to the ol' A7N266-VM.

Any word on the first availability of this new ASUS nForce3 board? If anyone knows when it's coming out, please drop me a PM. Thx!
