Asus Sabertooth Z87 owners pci x1 slot 1

Hey I was just wondering if any Sabertooth owners got their pci x1 slot 1 (top most slot) to work. If you search around you will find that no one can get that slot to work with no other cards in the system and doing all the proper bios settings. (Pci x16 3 to x1 mode and disable esata controller). I too have a sabertooth and that slot appears to be dead. It's looking like there was a major design flaw with these boards cause it does not work on any bios from original to current and with multiple rma'ed motherboards. Maybe you own one and never needed that top slot but there is a good chance it won't work. Let me know sabertooth owners
