Bought it back in dec 2013. Yesterday I got home to a no internet connection. Tried the whole power cycle the modem and router no dice. I use it wired to my PC and wireless to the rest of the house.

I know its not internet because I bypassed to modem connected fine.

Weird thing is though, when I have the ethernet cables unplugged from the router the orange and green lights in the port stay lit.

I disconnected everything from the router and unplugged it completely from the PS and then unplugged the PS from the wall. Left them for at least an hour and then just plugged the router in to the power, no ethernet cables what so ever.

The lights on port # 3 come on and the lights on the ethernet in port comes on. It looks like it is stuck thinking something is plugged in.

Any Ideas? No power outages on, it no surges (its plugged into a surge protector anyway) Cant for the life of me think of why it would do this.

Have you tried pushing the reset button?

Beyond that, it could be a dead switch in the router. It also could be physical damage to the port, though it would be odd that TWO ports would be physically damaged.

Might be RMA time back to Asus.

yeah asus says to rma it. Thats a bitch and disappointing me, If they charge me on top of this im going to be very upset
