ASUS RT-N56U power

Does if have a standard round DC-in connector or something proprietary?
Has anyone tried to feed it 12V power?

I'm asking because I power all my modems, switches and current routers from my HTPC PSU to minimize heat, power efficiency losses and power socket requirements. A 19V supply this router uses poses a bit of a problem for this scenario 😛
