Question Asus Router doesnt show Orbi wireless clients

As title says, anyone else running this particular combination? For some reason the asus doesn't show anything connected to my orbi network. My orbi does show my wired devices only connected through the asus router.

Initial searching seems to show this common on at least a couple asus models when using it as parent to an attached router. Is there some setting buried somewhere by chance to force it to fully populate the network map?

The Orbi probably does Routing too. Whatever is connected to it is on another IP band than the Asus.
It should be config. this way -

The Orbi is setup as access point and majority of the wireless devices are assigned static IPs in the Asus router. None of the wireless devices appear on the Asus network map l.
