I would personally be happier if it had a 10gigabit SFP+ (or NBase-T) port like the Netgear R9000. This way it at least can communicate to other network switches/routers that you might have in your network at full bandwidth to all the devices that are connected to the various WiFi networks and to all systems connected to the all the gigabit and NBase-T ports all at the same time without being bottlenecked. I mean, what good is 6000 Mbit/s WiFi if it can only attain those speeds to the switch itself since to use 6000 Mbit/s of the WiFi, you can only have 1 device communicating at once, and that means it is communicating to/from the access point, and since that access point does not have any hardwired port that can communicated at 6000 Mbit/s or faster, you can't ever attain that speed.

Yeah, I get a kick out of dual gbe wired cable modems "for up to 6.0Gbit/sec download plans". With a max of 2Gbit/sec throughput???

Why hasn't the FTC gone after these consumer-electronic mfgs for misleading specs/advertisement?

Ok, I've ordered the router from the OP. Wish me luck, I guess? I've always had Tomato-based routers, for the last 10 years, as my LAN router. But I just upped my FIOS to 1 Gigabit, and my current Tenda router running Tomato maxes out at 300-ish Mb/sec.

Oh my lol.

Btw Larry, Dream Machine Pro the Ubiquity device that's always out of stock. 😂

yeah but unless you have a UDM Pro SE, you don't have 2.5gbe... and you still need a wifi-6 access point to equal the check sheet on that asus router.

But back to my original statement, i do not consumer routers, especially gamer ones, and if its gonna have rgb and be bling bling, i still think my UDM Pro SE is way cooler with its 1.5inch OLED touch screen.
