Are you guys ready for the ROG Experience Tour Round 2?!
Please read rules carefully! Full details here!

Online Tournament Outline:
The purpose of this tournament is to see who can find the perfect balance between function and form in their ROG build! A true case modder and overclocker can adapt to any environment when needed. The competing teams must structure a system that can perform at its optimal performance, weigh as little as possible, and look sleek.

There are 3 brackets to achieve points:
Performance (1000 points) - Weight(1000 points) - Style(500 points).
These will be judged by ASUS based on fastest SuperPi benchmark score, lightest system, and the overall design. Teams must follow the online tournament rules to be eligible. The top 2 teams with the highest score will advance to round 2 finals at Blizzcon 2010 where they will compete for the grand prize!

Teams will use SuperPi 1m as the benchmark tool to achieve the fastest SuperPi 1m time. Team must also weigh their system on a digital scale with a photo proof or analog scale with video proof. Don’t think about cheating because the top 2 winning teams will have to send in their machines to ASUS and get weighed in to be sure that the weight is the same as what was posted in their submission along with SuperPi Submission. ASUS must be able to run the benchmark without any hacks or mods. If a Team’s weight is off by more than .1 lbs (1.6oz) the team will be disqualified and the top spot will be given to the runner up.

YOU ARE LIMITED TO AIR OR WATER COOLING OF YOUR CHOICE!

Please read the details on the contest page to be sure you submit your entries properly

If you have questions, just ask and i shall speak.

This thread is temp closed until we determine whether our HQ has sanctioned the promotion of this contest on our forums. Sorry.

Brain i dont think the top 2 people will give you there machines.

Infact im sorry, some of the machines which are entering will not be able to be sent out unless you request a palat.
My machine for example is 27inches tall X 18 inches wide x 18 inches long.

The Liquid Cooling Setup cost on par with my hardware setup consisting of:
4 LARGE class radiators (PA120.3 + MCR320x2 + PA160) + 5 pumps in 3 dedicated loops.

Coolant wise she takes up to 3/4 of a Gallon to fill up all 3 loops.

The total weight is probably close to 100lbs.

Brain there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY ANYONE WOULD SHIP OUT A FILLED LIQUID COOLED SYSTEM TO YOU GUYS WITHOUT A LOT OF INSURANCE.
AND THERE IS NO WAY THEY WILL SEND U A EMPTY ONE UNLESS U GUYS FOLLOW THE SYSTEM OWNERS COOLANT INSTRUCTIONS.

And im sure for hell you guys wont, because coolant instructions including BLEED TIME can be a PAIN IN THE ASS.

So brain u guys are SERIOUSLY gonna need to rethink on this one.
H5O and H7O ARE NOT REAL LIQUID COOLING SETUPS.

And no one would want to risk the loss in investment because.. id say my machine and the typical LC machine is worth a lot more then your prizes,
and there is no way i or anyone would mail you our machine for prizes which cost less then our primary computer which can break on transit even more because its a full LC'd system.

Brian go though the phase section in XS and any other site.
READ how many Phase units ALONE break in transit.

You guys want people to mail out 75lb+ LC system to you guys for validation?
You guys are gonna end up eatting a TON of insurance claims.. watch.. i can gaurentee it.
