They claim worldwide availability, but I dont see any yet. I assume they are just now shipping, but who knows. Knowing Asus' sky high prices, I dont think it will be cheap. I do think that the game bundle is very good. If only that was the good version of King Kong, and not the crappy one. :(

A 75Mhz and 50Mhz overclock on the core and memory isnt bad at all, when its still under warranty. Hopefully moew will follow suit.

Usually RAM speeds are discussed as the "effective" rate, so you might confuse people with the 50MHz reference. ( it's 50MHz clock, 100MHz effective)

BTW- what's wrong with the version of KingKong, says "full version dvd"?

Looks like the best XT, for sure.

I'm fairly surprised that is an Arctic HSF and it vents into the case, a first for them AFAIK.

I dont like the PR rating, of double data ram. I like the real number. I sure hope people wouldnt think that the XT is shipping with 800Mhz effective ram...

The store bought version of the game, doesnt use SM3. There is a version online, that is SM3 only, and looks MUCH better. Found here, as you can see, pretty high system requirements. Its called the "Gamer's Edition". However, someone bought it, and posted some compare screenies, and it does look much better. Which is the version I wish they bundled. Or better yet, I wish UBI shipped that version with the normal version.

I cant see the pics, they dont show for me. They've used AC products before, so it wouldnt suprise me. It would suprise me if it does dump the air into the case, and I wouldnt like that at all.

Hmmm that's add about King Kong, which looks like a very fun game to me.

The back plate of the card is double wide steel, like the reference 6800Us.

The pics load up for me now. Im not sure thats a AC fan/heatsink. I do not like it though. Heat inside the case = bad to me.

This was posted earlier. I didn't really like the power connector with the cable. Looks kinda makeshift. Also, the price is probably going to approach or exceed the 7800GTX 512MB, which will probably pwn this card.

Asus could make a 9200SE and charge $400 for it. They are by far the most expensive cards out there. They do have good bundles though. Kong just came out, and is $40 or more most places.

If there is no PE on there then we can expect something higher for that......if that comes.

I just noticed that the power adaptor is only rated at 80W. Doesn't the normal X1800XT already consume over 100W? Guess it's still drawing some power from the PSU

The PCI-express slot provides 75 watts IIRC. So 75+80= 155

It is a AC HSF because AC is advertising the ASUS card on the AC website.
