Asus Rampage X48 with Tuniq Tower 120

Hello guys! Has anyone gotten this combination to work?

I'm currently using the stock heat sink and fan that came with my x3350. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. 🙂

My problem is I cannot get the "H" bar to fit because of the on-board heat sink.

Mine went on without any trouble. 😕

(well apart from the finger contortions needed to do up the screws)

I'm guessing you were hitting at the top and bottom bumps (the 939 holes) on the H bar.
Give it a good wiggle it should fit.

Welshbloke how did you get the round end pieces from each side of the center bar on the "H" bar to line up to fit through the motherboard chipset heat sinks?

I'm a bit confused here (but I do have a fever at the mo).

I didn't need to fit the H bar through any heat sinks.

It was a bit of a tight fit between the small heat sink at the top of the board and the larger one under the cpu socket but it went in fine.

How are you finding the board?
I've only just finished getting everything installed myself (vista x64 bluetooth drivers are a bitch to find), but my q6600 is running at 3GHz and 1.265v and just tops 50c underload.

I gave up on trying to install the Tuniq Tower 120 and I bought a Zalman CNPS9700 NT Ultra Quiet and it fit perfectly.
