You should get the eVGA Micro X58 board. You can't beat their CS or warranty, and their boards are pretty good quality.

Unfortunately, I have yet to find it for sale in stock anywhere. eVGA has it on its website and lists NCIX and Amazon as only sellers right now, but both sites are taking pre-orders only...no stock.

As for the choice between the Gigabyte and Asus boards, the Asus has the advantage of size, if that's important, and includes the Xonar SupremeFX X-Fi sound card chipset on the board, a plus.

The Gigabyte, at least for me, has one of the more infuriating BIOS screens in the industry. Nothing is plainly spelled out in the cpu/memory adjustments for voltage, speed, etc., but is instead a +1, +2, adjustments....all without every telling you what you're moving from. No baseline listed, no actual settings listed. A definite minus......but Gigabyte boards are excellent OC'ers for the i7. Just hate their BIOS setup!

ohi have an normal atx case and sound doesnt really matter
but the gigayte is cheaper?
