I order this video card today for a recently purchased a E-machine from Walmart. It has a built in VGA video port but I want to run 2 monitors for doing books. I couldn't find any specs on what this card needs for power but it draws all it's power through the pci-e port and the E-machine has a 300 watt PSU so I'm guessing/hoping it will work. I bit anyway.

I believe tommorrow is the last day for the rebate?

I've been debating whether to buy this card for a couple of days now. With HDMI and audio-passthrough, it seems like it would make a great HTPC video card (especially if ASUS did make the card 15 deg cooler than reference). Should be sufficient for gaming at lower resolutions, too (I'm thinking of less demanding yet popular games eg Bioshock).

Are there better-value cards for < $100 available anywhere, right now? The cheap HD 4850s have dried up...

Bought this last night. Don't do a lot of gaming so it should be more than enough video card for my needs.

got this for a system build. the heatsink keeps it ice cold and it works very well. I ran 3dmark05 on it for 2 hours and it was warm.

bought the card this morning, price changed a bit. i think it's 5 bucks more now but i went to asus and got the rebate form no problems.
