Asus R704VD-RB51

Anyone familiar with the Asus R Series notebooks? They're not listed on the Asus site, and I can't find reviews. The specs seem attractive. I'm looking for a notebook for my teenage nephew going to a PG year in boarding school.

This seems like a more value oriented answer to the N series.

It looks decent, but dont expect to do any gaming. That i5 may have only the HD2500 iGPU, so it is not up to the HD4000. The 610M though is a very weak card. Not sure even why they would put it in. It does seem a bit overpriced. For 799 at microcenter you can get a quad ivy bridge with a GT630m.
