They had a wireless controller similar to a wii controller in the mid 90s. I remember seeing them at a computer show and wanting one to play Doom ....

The Eee!

I really would expect something like this on April 1st-

Just the fact that they are so enthusiastic about it being "First-of-its-kind" is enough to make me laugh.

Try a different browser. They didn't load in anything except Opera for me.

I can already see the lawsuit against them by Nintendo.

I can already see the lawsuit against Nintendo by Atari's peripheral makers.

The mercury filled joystick for the 2600. Filled with mercury so that when you tilt it, etc. the 'man and ship' on the screen will go in the direction that you turn it.
Good ole mercury!
we had a Le Stick when i was little. i wouldn't be surprised if it's still in my parent's house somewhere. it was way too damn sensitive, but at least there was a switch inside the grip so you could squeeze it to deactivate directional control.

I remember something similar even 15 years before that, back in the early Apple II days. And I would bet that someone had tried to market something else similar even 5+ years earlier. All these so called inventors and patents and their impending lawsuits are a fraud. "I patented AIR! I patented LIGHT! Pay me damages and royalties!"
