Asus Probe: Incorrect Temps?

I built a second workstation and I'm running a 1.6A@2.2 on a Asus P4S533 and when I go check out Asus Probe the Temps state the CPU is at 40C's no matter what load I put on it. In the BIOS it's at 29.5C's, so I think something is wrong with my Asus Probe software. My 1700+ AthlonXP only hits 40C's at full.

So any Asus owners have any advice/tips to get the Asus Probe working?

Thanks

Make sure you are using at least asus probe version 2.16.08 - previous versions are known to have that 40 degree floor issue.

If you run Prime95 for a few hours you may see your temp rise above 40C (depending on your cooling of course). There's a floor on the temperature readings rather than no readings at all. If you search the archives for keywords 'asus probe' you'll turn up a couple threads discussing P4S533 temperature readings.

I have the same thing going on with my P4S533, but I haven't bothered to update my Asus Probe or pursue it further myself. I know my CPU isn't running too hot, and beyond that I don't really care.
