Hello!
The Asrock board has better sound, 2 cpu power pahses more. Asus board is about 15$ cheaper here wehere I live.
The problem is that I cant afford any Samsung B-die RAM at the moment (some are too pricey, some unavailable for purchase), will be getting SK Hynix 3200MHz Ripjaws.V.
Hopefully future BIOS updates will sort out Hynix dies memory speed problems later on.
I'd like to have, at the minimum, 2933MHz memory.
I like Asrock board a lot more due to color scheme and sound. However, then there's no point in getting the 3200MHz RAM for it, as it supports max 2933 speeds anyway. The Prime-Pro supports up to 3200MHz.
What to get in your opinion? 3000MHz RAM and Asrock K4 or 3200MHz RAM and Asus prime-pro (both currently un-supported in memory QVL for both boards, but BIOS updates should fix that, hopefully, later on)
Getting it tomorrow, so speedy suggestions are much appreciated! Build will include Ryzen 1700 (will be overclocking it)
Thanks!
