Asus premium growing?

I've always been an Asus fanboy, especially for my highend stuff. But I swear that the premium on pays for the name is growing. I was playing around with my friends 256MB 6800, and I liked it, even thought about getting one for my next rig. So I check newegg, Leadtek has a model with an HDTV out for $300, then Asus's model is $380. Good Lord. Same thing in motherboards. I've bought Gigabyte recently because Asus is just charging too much for their products.

Just a rant.
 
I trust Asus, I don't trust many others. I think I'll be experimenting with an Epox soon though, instead of the Asus I've had my eye on. More features (that I'll use) for about the same price. :beer:

Over all I wouldn't say it's toooooo bad on the motherboard side...
 
I used to like Asus, but after two mobos that haven't impressed me much, i doubt i'll be going out of my way to get their products anymore.
