ASUS PB328Q 32" alternative to Acer X34?

Costs less than half of the X34 , but you get 75% of the refresh rate (75Hz vs 100hz) and no Gsync. Is this a decent gaming monitor? I want a great fps monitor, but I would hate to spent $1200 on a monitor. I currently use a 27" 1920x1200 @ 60hz monitor. Should I go 32" or 34" or get a 28" 1440P @ 144hz monitor?

Thanks!

These monitors aren't really comparable imo. A more comparable 2560x1440 monitor would be the acer xb271hu or Asus pg279q. These are both 144hz (165hz overclockable) ips and g-sync panels.

The asus you're looking at would probably make a perfectly fine gaming monitor, but I wouldn't consider it an alternative to the X34 or asus pg348q.

You also need to consider pixel pitch. 32 inches is generally considered somewhat large for 2560x1440 because the pixel density is somewhat low. Granted, the lower pixel count would make it easier to game on with a lesser gpu than a 4K 32 inch screen.
