Its an ASUS, and they are very comparable. It would probably come down to what features you need the most. The ASUS has a USB 3.0 hub instead of the USB 2.0 hub that the Dell has. The ASUS comes pre calibrated I believe. The ASUS has HDMI, the Dell does not.

As for image quality, you'd have to dig into reviews, but I believe both of the monitor are at the high end in the price range.

"True, precise colors on a 100% sRGB" should mean 100% sRGB color gamut? The Dell has 84% or so.

6ms Response Time vs 8ms for the Dell which should be the same in real world use.

I am guessing 8-bit color vs. Dell's 6 bit, but no specific mention is made in the Acer's specs.
