Asus P8Z77-V UEFI problem

Hi

Updated to latest BIOS recently.... To 1205.

But when I restart its a few milliseconds marginal to get into UEFI.

If I press to long I willl get the Reboot screen.

If I press to short it will boot into Windows 7.

If I manage to press that DEL button for just right the amount milliseconds I get into UEFI.

Problem is that I wanna 100% chance of getting into UEFI (bios) not a 10% one.

Any suggestions?

Yeah 1205 1206 known issue
ASUS working on it now
For some hitting Del on num pad works, depending on KB
For now you can tap F8 and pick F1 enter setup
Saving profile also borked

Personally, I would rollback
 
Good to hear you found a solution. To add some late info, it could also be a USB initialization issue. The USB port the keyboard is plugged into starts up later now, so the window of "delete availability" is narrower.
 
Glad i saw this. My P8Z77-V LE Plus had same issue when I updated to BIOS 4004. I could rarely get delete to work. The F8 key is muck more reliable but not 100%. Good to hear ASUS is working on this. BTW I use a PS2 keyboard.
