Hi All,

Just a few question regarding WiFi-Go Modules and mPCIe combo card compatibilty.

Does WiFi-Go+BT-Go Module bundled with P8Z77-V Deluxe could be used on P8Z77-V / PRO instead of using the bundled WiFi-Go Module? Could this be interchangeable across all the compatible Asus Z77 motherboards? Sort of compatibility with each other?

The same thing on mPCIe combo card bundled on Maximus V Gene, could I use the WiFi-Go module on it instead the mPCIe combo card?
Would there be a seperate retail WiFi-Go+BT-Go or mPCIe combo card that can be bought in the near future so I could equipped that on P8Z77-V / PRO or Maximus V Gene.

Thanks in advance!

That's nice to hear if it is indeed interchangeable with each module/combo card. Hope Asus will offer WiFi-Go+BT Go and mPCIe combo card in the near future that can be buy seperately.

Actually the GENE comes with an empty module slot. You can't use that if there are no modules for sale.

Yes, Maximus V Gene has indeed with an empty module slot. But it is bundled actually with an mPCIe Combo card (mPCIe/mSATA).

the gene's pinout is different compared to the others.

The nonROG board don't support mSATA. Might not even truly be mPCIE.
