ASUS P8Z77-V Boot HDD light

For some reason, the boot HD LED light on the mobo turns on briefly and then shuts off during boot. This usually indicates a HDD problem but the system went through POST without issues and the system booted without problems.

I have two drives, a boot Intel 330 SSD and a Western Digital 1TB HDD.
 
I have the same board, and all 3 LEDs (CPU/Boot device/Mem) flash briefly and sequentially during POST. If you aren't having any problems, I wouldn't worry.
 
It's not odd if that's what Asus intended them to do. 🙂

Same behavior on my Z77 Sabertooth. All flash in sequence as each subsystem is initialized. No problems, no problem!
