ASUS P8Z77-M or M Pro (micro ATX) DPC latency measurement

P8Z77M Pro, used dpc latency checker if you don't mind:

Not the best I suppose and certainly not as good as my previous Gigabyte board, bars on that one were tiny.

DPC Latency checker is broken in Windows 8 AFAIK. You have to use Latencymon.

Yes, this looks better.

That looks pretty much identical to my P8Z77-V Pro after ~5 minutes. Seems like there's not much difference between ASUS's current crop of ATX/mATX.

Out of curiosity, cofeejunkee, what video card are you using? I just recently switched from a GTX 670 to a 7950 and saw a massive improvement in my LatencyMon results. Whatever nvidia drivers I was using were playing havoc with my DPC.

Videocard is HD7790. You made me curious so I tested with HD4000 too:

No real difference, unless you consider 10 µs significant.

To OP: seems those boards are ok in the latency department. I'm satisfied with mine, but at this point I would really wait the extra month for haswell.
