great news!
I LUV solutions.
And your first post on AT is a winner - fer sure
It appears that as you update the RST oprom, you best update the RST, or at least refresh it. I might add that several are now reporting that the 10.8 driver pak after update also fixes no wake up sleep probs!

Make sure you update the MEI to latest also
www.overclock.net/t/1042186/asus-z6...vers-bioses-overclocking-reviews-updated-3-16

getyasome has been modding bios with the 11.0.0.1339 oproms (on HF and ASUS forums) and he also reports zero probs that traditionally cause rage amongst the endusers - USB 3 no work or work slow or intermittent detect, sleep wake issues, SSD boot issues, RAID issues etc.

So, once Intel gets around to qualifying the 11's you should then finally be able to use your PC as you wish - lol

For users with a P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3, I was wondering does your mobo take like 1/2 sec to turn the computer on once the PWR button is pressed ?

Probably not a big deal I was just wondering.

Mine does that too (among other things).

Haven't upgraded the BIOS yet, still waiting to see if it's really going to be worth it.

Anyone had success using the regular BIOS flash utility to update to 3202? I can't get it to recognize the .ROM file as a BIOS.

change name to 3202.rom, put in USB FAT32 2.0 stick naked (no folder) in Intel 2.0 port in I/O plate
Enable legacy USB's in bios
Optimized defaults
No 79XX vidcars
Wait at least 3 min by clock after start

I wouldnt do it unless you are def going to get IVY Bridge CPU.
Just for starters yiou will prob lose any RAID array, or off chip RAID wont be recognized
Previously detected vidcards wont now be (PCIe 3.0)
Any RAM quantity will be seen as 8GB with 7.9 useable.
Great instability
A0 Q-code after boot, degrading to B0

Just my ,02

Hello, I get the following message after OS (Win 7 64 bit) installation using ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 mobo:

"Windows setup could not configure Windows to run on this computer's hardware"

I set ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 BIOS Version 3402 to RAID array. Control I to build a RAID 1 volume. Install OS. On reboot, the message above appears. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks. BTW, install using AHCI mode and Win 7 works.
