Asus P8Z68-V LX good z68 choice?

I recently got a bundle at microcenter with a 2500k and Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboard. After I had it installed for a few days, I was getting a few blue-screens so I actually drove back to microcenter and exchanged both. I also recently noticed many people discussing issues with Gigabyte and a cold boot cycle issue that still seems present. I really didnt have the patience to try and figure out what is causing blue screens nor do I want to have to deal with other possible problems..... I am now selling a new UD3H-B3 and trying to figure what alternative I should go for.

Is the Asus P8Z68-V LX a good choice? Honestly, I only need the basic features so, it seems like this would fit well. Its also one of the cheaper options. I do want to do a little "mild" overclocking down the line and although the microcenter guy tried to spew that you cant overclock on this mobo, I doubt that is true.

The Asus is ok... but for $20 more you can get something like this Asrock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3, which OCs like a champ.

Here's a thread on Anandtech with the second post discussing auto overclocking a 2600k to 4.4. Asrock has really changed their game around, I recommend Asrock for all wallet friendly builds.

Yeah, just not that familiar with Asrock. Never owned one and they wouldnt be the first brand id go for. Thanks for input though.
