System:
Intel Core i5 750
16 GB DDR3 Gskill sniper Pc 1600
Asus P7P55D-E Pro (bios revision 1602)
2x EVGA 570 DS
Apevia Warlock 900w

Hi i have two EVGA 570 DS in SLI in my rig, my problem is that when i have any type of setting in the bios that allows me to run my ram at the correct speed pc1600 not pc1333 the PCI-E slots on my board for some reason dont detect the correct speed of x8/x8 they instead run at x4/x8. i have tried maually overclocking in the bios and just increasing the BCLK from 133 to 160, i have tried using X.M.P, and D.O.C.P to make my ram run at the correct speed but by using any of these options it causes my graphics cards to not run at the correct speed, this is all very odd to me because everything was working fine up until a couple of months ago when my powersupply blew while playing BF3, i rma'd the power supply and now im having this issue. with the resarch ive done on this board in the past to get ram to run at a speed over 1333 you need to change something in the bios be it X.M.P or D.O.C.P or just doing it manually. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong ive been working on this issue for a while now and cannot seem to figure it out.

If you set everything to default, does it still say 4x/8x or does it go back to 8x/8x?

i just did some more googling and found someone had a similar issue and it was caused by usb 3.0, they recommended disabling it, but this was only with one card and it was from x8 to x16, anyone think that this would apply to me too?

Disable it and see if it'll let you run memory at 1600.

Did you try reseating your video cards yet?

If you didn't have this issue before your power supply blew out it's possible it may have damaged the MB. Maybe do a visual inspection for leaky or bulging caps?
