Asus P7P55D-E & i5 760 OC Fail

Hello everybody! First of all, sory for my english, i'm from Argentina, tnx for read.

I have a "new" computer with this main components:

Intel i5 760 @ 2.8Ghz
MB Asus p7p55d-e
Zalman 9900Max
Kingston HyperX @ 1600mhz 4Gb x 4
MSI 6870 HAWK 1Gb
LianLi 850Max

In default configuration works fine, without freezing or BSOD, but the memory run @ 1333mhz, because blck default is 133. (CPU Idle temp 32°, full load 55°)

The problem comes when increase blck to 160. The RAM runs ok @ 1600mhz (1.65v & 1.2v), but the processor goes to 3.3ghz. I've tried increase the vCore several times, include to 1.3v, but OCCT, Prime95, Intel Burn test sometimes get freeze and speaker make "beep", like when the computer starts... but never starts, and I have to push reset.

The last configuration i've tried is blck 160, vCore 1.32 and ratio 18, this give 2.89Ghz, but the result it's the same.

What I can do? I think MB does not support overclocking.

Tnx from now!

I've search for "memory divider" option or "DRAM:FSB" but apparently ASUS MB can't allow configure this.
In other forum tell me set ICM voltage to 1.25, but the result it's the same. The bios preset for OC set "crazy 3.3ghz" 1.25v to vCore and 1.4v to ICM!!!, is too much right?

I'm using an ASUS P7P55D and an i5 750 and was able to get it fully stable at 4.0GHz (20x200), 1.375 volts, using a couple different kinds of RAM. It shouldn't be too much of a challenge to get 3.3GHz. Have you tried using an overclocking guide like this one?

Hello!
I've read that's guide but the voltage's confuseme a little bit. Can you show me you're voltage configuration please?
Tnx.-

OK, I went into my BIOS setup and wrote down all the relevant settings:

AI TWEAKER:

AI OC Tuner: Manual
CPU Ratio: 20.0
Speed Step: Enabled
Xtreme Phase: Enabled
BCLK: 200
PCIE: 100
DRAM Freq: DDR3-1600 (you can fiddle with this depending on your BCLK)
QPI: Auto

CPU Voltage Mode: Manual
Fixed Voltage: 1.375
IMC Voltage: 1.300
DRAM: 1.5
Load Line Calibration: enabled
(everything else auto)

ADVANCED CPU SETTINGS:
Ratio: 20.0
Max CPUID: Disabled
A20M: Disabled
(everything else enabled/auto)

Hope that helps. You may also need to adjust your DRAM timings to match the specs of your memory. Good luck!
