Asus P6T7 WS Supercomputer + Core i7 965 not stable??

Hey guys, so this is my first go at the new Core i7. This is my setup:

Asus P6T7 WS Supercomputer
Intel Core i7 965
Corsair Dominator 6GB DDR3 (1866mhz)
EVGA GTX 285

Everything seems to run ok... but when I use IntelBurnTest 2.3 to test my system - all settings are stock (aka: 'Auto') - I fail IntelBurnTest after two passes.

Should I be setting my settings in the BIOS to specific settings versus leaving things as 'Auto'?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

are you monitoring your temperatures also? possible overheating?

I am monitoring my temps. On full load (all 4 cores and 8 threads and max memory), the temps never go over 60 degrees.

edit:
hmm... I just installed Asus AI Suite and it's telling me that the CPU is 58 degress idle. CoreTemp tells me that I'm at 40 degrees idle. What the hell... what such a big difference???
