Asus P6T DeLuxe dilemma

Appologies if this is not the right section to post my question...ah well here goes.

There are 6 SATA connectors on the mobo and 2 SAS connectors. Can you connect a SATA device to the SAS connectors, I have used the up the SATA connectors and need to attach another HDD.

No...you're talking two different hard-drive technologies...Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) and Serial AT Attachment (SATA). Round peg, square hole. No worky.
