So I've built 3 computers now using Asus p67 and z68 boards, 2 for my friends and 1 for myself.
All of them use the --Intel 82579V-- network chip. D:
For all 3 computers, I noticed that on Cold boots, sometimes the Ethernet takes a long time to connect like a whole minute, sometimes 2 minutes.
And other times, it connects instantly.
Google tells me there is indeed a problem with this network chip for everyone who has the P67 and Z68 Asus boards, but no one seems to have a solid answer as to how to remedy the problem.
note:
I am using right drivers.
Sometimes connection drops, but reconnects quickly (random-time-duration)
