So just today I've been getting warnings from the AI Suite stating something along the lines of
"WARNING +5V 10.08". That seems like a really high jump.

It has happened twice, after the first time I started recording the voltages using the AISuite. After the second warning popped up I checked the log and saw no spike. (Granted it records in 20s intervals).

Ive done a few things today. Mainly moved my sataII HDDs to the sataIII ports and installed a VM for Ubuntu. Is it possible this is related? Do you guys think this is more of a software sensor glitch, or is my PSU really spiking up +5V on the 5V rail?

Current setup:
tx750w Corsair PSU
i5 2500k @ stock settings
Asus p67 pro @v1204 bios
8gb 1600 ddr3 w/ 9-9-24 (1600 was manually set in bios from the default 1333)
amd6950 2GB@ stock settings

I think you should google the Intel 6 Series Chipset recall - something about Intel setting aside $700 million to maybe over $1 billion... it may have something to do with your sandybridge chipset board... You should be safe with the SATA III because it is the SATA II that is causing this issue.

Read this AnAndTech Article about it:

I'm not quite sure what your post has to do with the OP's question...Totally separate issues.

Anetic, have you downloaded and installed the new version of AI Suite II?
http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
choose your product and OS, then find it under "Utilities."

Odds are, it's just a software glitch...and since the software isn't usually very accurate in measuring the system voltages...I wouldn't really sweat it, BUT, if you're gonna lose sleep over it, read this:

Yeah, I get incorrect readings on 3.3V line (2.45V readout) on my board, but I'm not worried much :\

As soon as I get my hands on a multimeter, I'll check it out, thanx for the link BoomerD

Thanks for the reply, been reading around and it seems general consensus is that its a software glitch. I'm fairly certain I have the latest version of AISuite, but will investigate this later.

EDIT: Reading other forums (namely overclock.net) people are having similar issues. Small annoyance but nothing to be concerned about.
