Hello everyone, i need ur help.

I have this motherboard Asus P5W64 WS Professional and last night i wanted to update latest bios from version 0402 to version 1101 so i can use my E8400.

Stupid thing i did was because i tryed to update from vista 64 biti i think, anyway i usesd asus update program and updated the bios from file version 1101 everything was ok but at veryfind rom or something it failed to check EEPROM. After that it restarded and never went back on 🙁.
I need help to restore it someohow please

I have tried to flash the BIOS of a ASUS P5K-SE motherboard using a ASUS windows utility. It fXXked up my motherboard exactly as you described. Good thing was that the BIOS flash chip was removable and I happened to have another P5K-SE lying around. I replaced the flash chip with the other one to boot up. Then, I swapped the chip back to flash the BIOS again using an emergency boot disk.

The problem is that i don't have acces to another motherboard to do what u sayd, is there any other way around? otherwise im fucked since it cost shitloads that mb.
