Asus P5W DH Deluxe, Vista and WiFi

For the past couple of hours I have been fruitlessly trying to get the wifi access point to work in Vista. I've downloaded the updated WiFi drivers and Vista detects the Asus WiFi adapter perfectly fine, but I just can't create an access point using the Vista software.

In XP my system is the access point for my sister's comp using the Asus WLAN software.

The software installs in Vista fine, but when I run the solo wizard it won't detect the Ethernet controller and is really frustrating.

Any help would be appreciated. The sad thing is that Vista has been out for so long and they still haven't released up to date Wlan software, though they have released drivers.
