Ok i have had this board for about 4 months now and I just noticed that when using CPUZ it identifies the mobo as a P45 chipset not the P43 chipset that asus says it should have. Anyone else got this same board and noticed that.
because p43 chipset came from p45. its just a tweaked version of the p45. main differences are p45 chipsets also allows ddr3 memory and support of two pciE x16. so to answer your question, p43 came from p45 and have those two difference thats why they both show up in cpuz as p45 chipsets.
