I know this one is an oldie...
I've re-purposed an Asus P5Q Pro with a Q6600 to serve as a freenas server.
I'm using ZFS and wanted to bump up the memory. Right now it has 4GB which is really the bare minimum for a home ZFS server.
As long as I'm at it, I would like to run ECC memory if possible. I know that the board doesn't "officially" support it, but I was hoping maybe someone knew if it "unofficially" supported it.
So far, my searches haven't turned up anything.
Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.
