Asus P5Q-E sound driver

I just got an Asus P5Q-E and it comes with soundmax drivers After using Realtek on my last build I cant stand soundmax and was wondering if it is possible to install a different driver (like Realtek) or if the onboard sound cards only work with a certain kind of driver. Thank you!

Answer is there.

If you're on Vista, it should have the basic driver built in, or at least it'll be on Windows Update...you won't need to install the extra Soundmax software.

I use the default driver on my P5Q-D...bare driver w/o extra software & it works great.

Ok, I'm still on xp though, but ill try the windows update anyway and see what happens, thank you!
