ASUS P5Q-E LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $159

I'm on my way to building a new system. I saw this review and it looks pretty good.

linky

I will be using it about 50% for gaming and the rest for internet and office stuff. I generally do lots of multi-tasking...no video other than DVD rips.

The CPU will be the Wolf E8400 $159

Any thoughts? Am I going the wrong way?

I thought the board looks good also. I am getting mine today for an upgrade from my P5W DH and can post some of my thoughts.

I got the p5q-e up and running and am getting everything installed. THe layout is good expect for one of the SATA conenctors which the graphics card interferes with. The board has set up easily and is stable. I am goignt to start pushing the FSB soon but so far have booted with the FSB up to 475 at all default voltages--so I am excited about begining to overclock.
