Hey guys,
I just bought a p5p800 and a p4 550. I used to have a intel 865gbf mb with a 3ghz C cpu. When i first set up the board i put my memory at its rated timings like i used in my intel board for over a year at Cas 2-3-2-6. THe board installed windows fine and no issues until i ran bf1942 and i got plenty of blue screens relating to memory. I clocked the memory down to SPD and i still would get blue screens. I tested with 3dmark03 and would get blue screens relating to my geforce card and sometimes my ram. I bumped it to cas 2.5-3-3-7 and have not had a issue. I ran 3dmark03 for 10 hours with no corrupted textures. Also ran sandra burn in test overnight with no issues so it is stable. I just dont understand why my memory i bought becuase of the timings, wont run at them on this new board. I even updated to the latest bios. Anyone else have this issue? i also ran Memtest and i had no errors all night. All my specs are in my signature.
Thanks,
